As a stepping-stone to the Paralympics, National Junior Disability Championships gathers the best disabled athletes for a week of competitions. Approximately 250 qualifying athletes from across North America will compete in St. Louis June 25-August 2, 2009. The host hotel, the Sheraton of Westport will host the families as well as the weightlifting competition. St. Charles West High is the 3-on-3 wheelchair basketball, archery, track & field, and table tennis venue. The St. Peters Rec Plex will hold the swimming competitions.
