NJDC Fact Sheet- Saturday, July 25th through Saturday, August 1st, 2009

This event is for athletes between the ages of 7 and 21 who have met the appropriate Disabled Sports Organization (DSO) qualifying standards at a sanctioned regional qualifying meet or an approved qualifying competition. The list of events and qualifying standards are on the NJDC website www.wsusa.org or can be requested by email. If you are unsure as to eligibility for this meet, contact the Meet Director, 636-477-0716.

Competitions Include:

Archery
Field (shot put, discus, javelin, long jump, high jump, triple jump, high toss, club throw, precision toss, thrust & distance kick, softball throw, pentathlon)
Swimming (short course, indoor pool 25 meter; Colorado Timing System)
Table Tennis (8 tables available for classed individual, open, doubles, and open novice play)
Track (8 lane Tartan surface track: moderately fast, 400 meter track, 100 meter straights and 100 meter curves; Lynx Timing System)
Weightlifting (power and bench styles will be contested)
Wheelchair Basketball, 3 on 3 (half court tournament play)

Where: The host hotel, Sheraton at Westport, is located approximately 5 miles from Lambert International Airport- St. Louis. The host competition venues are the St. Peters Rec Plex and St. Charles West High School.
